Today we have updated a few of our child themes and plugins for ClassiPress. These updates have fixes to a few minor issues that cropped when using other plugins besides our ClassiPress child themes and plugins. Please make sure you are running the latest version by checking the ‘Changelog’ tab from the product pages. The updated products are as below:
- ClassiClean – A Clean Child Theme for ClassiPress (v1.1)
- Citify Ultimate Plugin – Add City Sub-sites to ClassiPress (v1.2)
- Statify Ultimate Plugin – Add State Sub-sites to ClassiPress (v1.2)
- ClassiEstate – A Real Estate Child Theme for ClassiPress (v1.2)
- Statify – A ClassiPress Child Theme (v1.2)

But how do we go about with the updating on our site?
1st deactivate and uninstall the plugin
2nd, download and activate new plugin?
Will this method delete the settings with have configured on the site?

Uninstalling the plugin will delete all the settings related to it. It is best to replace the folder using FTP, it does not even involve deactivating the plugin.
