How to Send SMS Notifications With WordPress

If you own a website and want to be able to send SMS from your website, it would be easier and faster to use a program like Google’s SMS service for WordPress. As many people who know how to send SMS with WordPress already know, you should always try to use a program that has been designed by a professional company. There are many companies out there that just have the basic product. And as many of those programs also have ads in them, they are not very practical or useful.

So before you decide to use any program to send SMS from your blog, you should look for one that is made by an actual company. It would probably be more expensive, but at least you know that you will only be dealing with a real company and not an amateurish person. If you have been using other programs to send SMS from your blog, you can always transfer your current data over to your new program. But you will not want to mess around if you are new to how to send SMS notifications with WordPress.

So, how to send SMS notification with WordPress? Basically, you will want to get your blog text message plugin and add a button on your blog where people can plug in their mobile number and send a text message directly from your WordPress site. The great thing about this plugin is that you can easily customize it so that it will always display a list of available numbers. In fact, some plugins even allow users to choose which pre-programmed numbers will display as the text box for sending a text message. This may sound complicated, but once you get used to how to send SMS notification with WordPress, you will wonder how you ever lived without it!

How to Integrate a Twilio Gateway For WordPress Into Your Site

Twilio Gateway for WordPress presents an affordable and highly effective solution to enable rapid integration of voice and video calls to your WordPress blog. With the Twilio PHP API, Twilio provides a high-quality VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) gateway for easy communication between a customer and a service provider. By connecting through the Twilio PHP API, a customer can call a toll free number that displays a graphic image of a persons face as he or she answers the phone. Then just as easily make a purchase over the Web, or even sign up for a newsletter from the WordPress admin area.

Twilio is not only limited to phone systems. You can integrate it with any other application through the Twilio PHP plugin, such as eBay, Amazon and others. And with the eBay plugin installed, Twilio delivers a fully integrated PayPal checkout experience, which makes it easy for customers to complete their transaction right there on the website. Twilio will charge a fee every time a sale is made, so you will need to pay a little bit more for this feature, but in the long run, it can be quite profitable.

Some other fantastic advantages of Twilio integration with WordPress are that there is no limit on how many numbers can be connected, and Twilio will never disconnect your numbers, even if they are outside the United States. Also, Twilio does not charge for any messages sent to your phones. That said, the Twilio gateway plugin does require some HTML coding knowledge and understanding to set up the forwarding of messages. So it might be better for those who use internet telephony and want to use their numbers for that purpose.

The Twilio gateway also allows you to get advanced features through a Twilio PHP library, which includes authentication, SSL, and more. Advanced functionality is only possible through the Twilio PHP API, and the Twilio library allows access through the Twilio API as well. This makes it very easy to do advanced things with your gateways, as well as to develop your own programs through Twilio. If you need a secure back-end for your business, then Twilio is the right choice for you to make.

Another benefit of Twilio gateway integration with WordPress is that you do not have to deal with the complicated PHP coding. You will only need a short code that you install in your WordPress installation, and Twilio will handle the rest. There are very limited plugins out there that are compatible with Twilio, however. The best thing you can do to make sure you are getting a great experience with Twilio is to find a premium Twilio WordPress plugin that is compatible with Twilio’s API. It will save you a lot of time and frustration.

Twilio gateway integration with WordPress can bring many new benefits to your business. It used to be that it was very difficult to add a Twilio gateway to your website. Now there are so many different software developers out there that you should have no problem finding something that works for you. If you are using a Linux operating system then you will need to get a port’s package from your distribution package to get Twilio working on it. If you are using Windows, you can simply use the Twilio software package from downloads.

How to Register Cheap Domain Names

How to Register Cheap Domain Names

Starting an online business is the cheapest way to start a business fast. Of course, there are certain concerns that must be addressed. One of the most overlooked things about starting a business online, is the domain name. Every business online requires a domain name. A domain name identifies the business and makes it easier to locate on the Internet. Today, it is easy to acquire a cheap domain name with a convenient domain promo code. Here is what you need to know about domain names on the Internet.

Why You Need a Domain Name

Every small business to major corporations on the Internet has their own domain name. Otherwise, it would be virtually impossible to find their business online. A domain name belongs to the business or person. It identifies their virtual address on the Internet. A domain name is the business name followed by .com or some other form like edu. or org. after the business name.

Registering a Domain Name

At one time, registering a domain name was a complicated and expensive process. Today, registration is decidedly different. It is easy enough for a child to complete the process. Believe me, easy registration that is hassle free is important. Simply search online for a domain registration site like GoDaddy, NameCheap, Name.com or Dynadot. Take a look around the website and read what they have to offer. Select your domain name. Make sure that it is available. Next, you will have to pay for your domain name. Promo codes come in handy here. The site will take you through the registration process quickly. The registration should take five minutes or less.

How to Register Cheap Domains

The price for a domain name has certainly decreased in price over the last few years, but it can still be pricey for some people who are on a tight budget. Fortunately, it is easy to get a cheap domain name with a domain promo code like the one available at www.couponswift.com site. Simply grab your coupon code and use it during the domain registration process. The whole process is simple, easy, and quick.

Hide WordPress Widgets on Mobile Devices

Hide WordPress Widgets on Mobile Devices

Are you running a responsive WordPress website? Ever felt the pages becoming too long on smaller screens? Do you wish you could hide certain widgets on mobile devices? Don’t worry as we have just launched a brand new plugin that helps you optimise your website pages for mobile devices. Hide Widgets on Mobile plugin is a perfect companion for your responsive WordPress theme and lets you hide any active widget from all mobile devices with just one click by adding a check box to each widget settings!

With the increase in number of responsive websites using WordPress as a CMS, the general trend is to stack the sidebar below the main content area to display a “one column layout” and hiding certain elements on mobile devices for a cleaner look. This approach is great and works for a majority of websites, yet the only downside of it is that as the column width becomes smaller, the height of the content area grows making the page too long for the widgets in the sidebar below to stay relevant. Thankfully, there is now a ready solution in the form of the Hide Widgets on Mobile plugin and we have taken care of the performance side as well. The widgets which are selected to be hidden are actually not displayed at all on any mobile device (not just hidden via CSS media queries), making the page load quicker as well.

Hide Widgets on Mobile Details

Furthermore, we have a brand new child theme launching soon for Clipper coupon listing theme from AppThemes called Flatter, which is fully responsive and based on “flat design”. Take a sneak peek at how it massively improves on the default design of the Clipper theme.
